TV Shows That Shut Down Production Due To COVID-19

The Coronavirus' effects are being felt in all aspects of life and television is not excluded.

After initially saying they would tape shows without a live studio audience, now many television shows have announced that they will be halting production all together in order to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

As of right now the following television shows have announced that they will be halting production and running "the best of" or reruns for the time until further notice:

  • The Ellen Show
  • The Wendy Williams Show
  • The Tonight Show Hosted By Jimmy Fallon
  • Late Night With Seth Meyers
  • Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen
  • The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

Full Frontal With Samantha Bee, Last Week Tonight With John Oliver, and The Daily Show With Trevor Noah, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Late Late Show with James Corden are still poised to film without a studio audience starting Sunday. As of right now Saturday Night Live will continue taping with an audience when it returns on March 28,
