The Dallas Cowboys and Jerry Jones have finally reached a deal with their number one receiver.
It was announced last night that Amari Cooper would re-sign with the Cowboys for $100 million over the next 5 years. After being traded from Oakland to Dallas in 2018, NFL teams are finally starting to look at Cooper as an overall threat to their secondaries. Last season, he recorded 1,189 yards receiving, 79 receptions, and 8 touchdowns. Now that Cooper's locked into a long term deal, Dallas is working on locking in their just franchise tagged quarterback Dak Prescott. Prescott already turned down a deal from Dallas for $33 million a year. Rumors have it he's looking to settle for no less than $40 M's.
