Ciara Was ALSO Supposed to Perform at the AMAs

On November 20th, the American Music Awards hosted their show without tributing Michael Jackson’s 40th anniversary for hit song, Thriller. The tribute was expected to be performed by Chris Brown, until the platform disrespectfully cancelled. Although Breezy immediately shared his experience, it seems like everyone else kept things hushed… until the day after the show.

Yesterday, Ciara shared a post which exposed her portion of rehearsal. The song being tribute is “Billie Jean” and the “Level Up” singer accompanied the video with caption, "MJ thank you for the inspiration you’ve given us all! Thriller 40th Anniversary. @ChrisBrownOfficial you’re a rare breed of this generation. Always fun to rock with you 💃🏽,"

Speculation about her involvement was clarified when a source told ET, "Ciara was confirmed to perform with Chris as part of the Michael Jackson tribute. No reason was given as to why it was pulled."
